Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers are rated to extinguish burning liquids, and energized electrical fires. Carbon Dioxide is discharged as a white cloud of "snow" which smothers a fire by eliminating its oxygen. Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers are suitable for mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, auto repair shops, elevator mechanical rooms, etc. A CO2 fire extinguisher is NOT recommended for use on computer equipment because it may leave a dry ice snow or moisture condensation when discharged.
